The Beach
With a heavy heart I looked into her eyes,
Seeing her smile as my soul dies.
My heart beats faster as I take her hand,
This isn’t as easy as I had planed.
My heart yearns to immerse in your embrace,
To strive for love that never I will reach.
I follow her footsteps to the ocean,
While I remain alone here on the beach.

i had to write for class
and poetry is my strong point but lately i havent been able to write so i was surprized when i wrote this.ok i didnt write it all i had some help but i wrote half of it.
