Washing it away

Yet Another Heist...

Nemora entered the bar and took her usual seat in the corner, ordering whatever they had on tap. Not that it was ever good anyway. An uneasy chill went through her as she took a sip. Looking around, her gut once again told her something wasn't right.

She wasn't too nervous, as she knew it wouldn't concern her, but she could definitely tell that some thing was going to happen. The way several people seemed to watch a lone guy apparently waiting for someone made it clear that maybe they were the ones waiting for him. If a fight was going to break out, perhaps it would be a good idea to leave.

Nemora took another sip of her beer, decided she was not really in the mood to leave...quite yet. Her curiosity got the better of her. She knew the lone guy - well, she knew the little bits of information she had gathered from her observations of people during her time at the bar. He was a freelance assassin - so she also wasn't surprised that people would be looking for him. It's a risk you have to take when you get into that line of business, that's for sure. Of course, not many people really knew of his...business dealings, but she had her ways.

Nemora finished her beer and ordered another round, waiting for some action. If she weren't so close to it, she would be eating popcorn. Permitting the Dreck actually sold decent popcorn.

As the sun set, Nemora knew it was time to leave. She had some...things to retrieve. She quickly finished her drink and discretely left the bar, heading once again for the Higher Streets, where she had saw the set of jewelry she knew she could fence for a good amount of money.

Out of the bar ran Damien. There were several Gunshots before hand. "I knew that was a set-up." He was screwing a silencer on the barel of his gun. He saw the girl who was jsut in the bar and was running past her "Duck into an alley or risk getting shot"
