Good old days

Daleka decided that she was getting rusty and she needed some exercise. So she headed for the cemetery. It was always the best spot for her to get into a fight and kick some ass without arousing suspicion on her true nature, because the people who were hanging in the cemetery were very high on substance D. really, only fools would end up there…
She was lucky it didn’t started snowing yet. Otherwise they would’ve noticed her almost right away. There was a couple of bums hiding in a crypt, but she heard them before she even seen the crypt, whose door was busted open, as usual. They were talking but Daleka didn’t pay any attention to what they were saying, she just wanted to kick some ass, but against all of them it could be messy. She jumped on top of the crypt, careful to the noise she was making, and waited for one of them to come out.

Minutes later, they were still in there, and Daleka was started to get really annoyed by that. She was about to take a piece of concrete that was lying there and throw it on the ground, but she was stopped by a firing noise, coming from the entrance of the cemetery. Quickly, she jumped off the roof to hide behind the crypt, and seen that two guys were coming in running, while a bunch of others, maybe six of them, came after them and started shooting. The ruckus scared the bums so they ran away from the crypt. Daleka took a good look at the two men pinned down and recognized one of them. It was Daniel Lamb! She liked that kid because he provided her with so much info, sometimes getting hurt in the process. She didn’t know exactly why those gang members were after them but she figured that he did something wrong, as usual. She didn’t want him or his friend to get killed because these days there was so little people you could trust. She let out a loud whistling noise to attract their attention. It worked, because a few bullets went flying where she was. She hid quickly enough to avoid them, but her goal was obtained : they seen her.

“What the hell was that noise?” Matthew asks to nobody in particular.
“Maybe a bum got drunk and started whistling a tune? They probably thought he was with us and just now probably filled him full of lead.” Daniel says.
“Yeah, probably.” Matthew comments.

Daniel looks over the crypt they are hiding behind and sees the gang members have focused their attention on whoever just made that noise and are spending ammo wildly. A different gunshot is heard and one of the gang members is shot in the leg and goes down. He yells out in pain and yells for help but this is cut short by another bullet entering the side of his head, killing him instantly.
“I don’t think that’s a bum.” Daniel says.
“Yeah, if they do have guns they aren’t that accurate the substance D affects their concentration and aim, I’d know.” Matthew comments.
Another gang member gets shot in the shoulder and spins to the ground. One gang member grabs him by the collar and drags him to cover, the gang members still alive have taken cover and are now engaged with the masked shooter, might as well be an angel as far as Matthew is concerned.
“Screw this! I’m out of here!” One gang member yells and runs towards Daniel and Matthew’s direction; they slink back behind the crypt and wait. Matthew pulls out his gun but Daniel puts his hand on the gun and shakes his head. The gang member runs closer towards the crypt and Daniel jumps out, grabs the and takes out his knuckle knife in one smooth motion and shoves it in his stomach and then pushes him off. The man stumbles back, his hands grabbing at his wound and looks up and sees Daniel. He spits blood at him in defiance, refusing to give up. Daniel then takes the knife and shoves it into the mans throat and then swings it to the left, making a giant gash in the mans throat and blood goes every where. The man still stands gurgling and gasping for air, Daniel kicks him to the ground and the man slowly dies. A gunshot goes past Daniel’s head and he jumps back to cover.
“Shit. I didn’t think they would have seen me with them being preoccupied.” Daniel says.
“You could of just slashed his throat and of been done with it. No need to get all crazy ass serial killer about it.” Matthew remarks.
“Whatever.” Daniel says.

They look back from the cover and a bullet flies past them, it seems they got a couple of gang members to keep them down while the rest deal with this masked shooter. Hopefully this person is a good shot, because they can’t help for now.

Good old days. Empty Showdown, part 2

Showdown, part 2

Daleka was having her exercise all right. She started diminishing their number by shooting the ones that were more exposed to the view. Then, she started having fun playing hide and seek with the remnants of them, which she counted to be five, alive. She first took care of the wounded one by shooting a bullet through his brains, and then she literally jumped over a six-foot tall tombstone and landed on her feet, just behind an unnamed thug. He let out a yelp of surprise, before she slashed his jugular, and then shoved the knife forward to sever his windpipe, causing immediate death. Wasting no time, she dove immediately behind another headstone, avoiding a rain of lead.

The three of them that was left had a very bad idea. They grouped together, thinking that they would offer a bigger resistance to their masked opponents. But, really, they just offered themselves on a silver platter to Daleka. If she counted right, she only had 3 bullets left. One for each. But that’s not what she wanted. She shot each one of them in the knee, to immobilize them, and slid back her gun into its sheath, gripping onto her blade, grinning. She stayed behind her hiding spot. Daleka was only a few feet away from her victims, and despite their attempts to shoot at her, she was avoiding every single bullet.

Eventually, they ran out of ammunition, and stupidly, they rushed toward her with various blades or none at all. One by one, she finished them off. The first one who lunged at her with what looked like a rusty kitchen knife; she punched his jaw so hard that it broke, literally. Screaming in pain, he was holding onto his precious part while losing his blood, bit by bit. She snapped his neck quickly, to ease the pain. The next opponent had no weapon, really. He just had his bare fists, with a chain tangled around them. Daleka raised an eyebrow, not having seen such technique in a long time. While she was wasting that precious second, his took that opportunity to hit her, hard, on the jaw. Such blow would’ve knocked off a normal being but she only squinted her eyes, letting out a low growl.

- The game’s OVER! She yelled as she took him as a punching bag, landing a series of vicious punches in his liver.

He groaned in pain as she smiled. She then took her knife and plunged it, deep, into that very same liver. His hands automatically reached for the weapon lodged in his stomach. Daleka took a big amount of pleasure in twisting the blade, taking it out of the wound quickly. She’d made a big, gaping hole, which would ensure his quick death, within seconds. He fell on his knees, then into the ground. The last one standing panicked, and started running away, turning his back to her. A mistake he wouldn’t live to remember. Rapidly, Daleka took the kitchen knife that feel earlier on the ground and, using it as you would do with a spear, she threw it into the running man’s back. He fell on the ground, dead.

Daleka then took a deep breath, smiling, and her heart was pounding, hard. She was made for killing, and she was good at it. It felt good. Suddenly, she realized that she was not alone when she heard somebody talk. She remembered the two men, and rushed toward them.

- Are you guys okay? Come on, let’s get the fuck out of here, before more of their friends come. I know a safe place, follow me !
